I am very pleased with my purchase of this distilling column. From the date purchased to the date delivered , was only 3 weeks , even after UPS fumbling with it for almost a week . All in all, wasn't too bad of a wait time coming all the way from its origin . And without any extra import charges or any other hidden fees.
I just received it yesterday so I haven't had time to put it to use yet . But its a lot better quality than some of the others available that I've seen or even expected to receive myself.
Very happy customer and I will be shopping @ Oak Stills again in the very near future .

Grabbed this unit to experiment with some old wine. I added an extra 12 inch section, 2 filter plates to hold SPP packing in the tubes, and a sight glass under the dephlegmator. I use a 3 kw element in a 50L beer keg, and I pump water through the condensors with a 12 V caravan pump connected to a 1200L tank. With 30 years experience as a winemaker I can say that this equipment is made to a very high quality. I have distilled to 94% abv from 12% abv wine and 95.5% abv from 30% abv diluted low wines.

The column arrived very quickly and everything was provided that was in the list online. Easy to assemble and attach to my boiler.
