Does everything its suppose to, zero issue. Clamps on sturdy, ball valve on bottom is super handy.
Was super excited to get my proofing parrot but when I was looking it over since the box was basically crushed I noticed that there was rust in the discharge tube also even after cleaning it the first run produced a black film which pretty much ruined my first half of my run i tried to take a good picture but couldn't get the best angle but you can still see the start of the rust in the picture
Product was as described and showed up on time. I would buy from oak stills in the future.
This proofing parrot is impeccable. Love the craftsmanship! Works great and works well with the standard Glass Hydrometer. Love that its inline of my shotgun condenser and can simply turn a valve to use it or bypass it at the bottom of the parrot instead of taking it off.
I bought this Parrot to use with the 4” Column Still I bought from Oak Stills a year ago. I have not had a chance to use the Parrot yet but it is well made and beautifully polished just like the still was! Oak Stills has Very nice products and delivered in a couple weeks.
