The angle of the lyne arm can affect the proof of alcohol produced. A lyne arm tilted upwards results in more reflux, resulting in a higher proof of the distillate. Conversely, a downward tilt will result in a lower proof.
Terms:
Heating method optional by electric heating elements, gas and steam. Stills from 50-300 gallons can be effectively heated by gas or electricity, for bigger stills we recommend to use steam.
