13 Gallons Double Jacketed Distilling Boiler

This is a well made still with good quality welds and comes nicely packaged - it arrived in good condition as expected. In assembly, we found that the heater element core ports are thicker at the flange and require a larger rail width clamp. The provided clamps don't fit because of an oversized flange or undersized clamp rail width (I don't know if they provide a different clamp here and we didn't get them). If the screw was longer I could've made it work, but I'll need three clamps replaced, Curiously, we also received a 1" 90degree tube; an extra which doesn't fit our still. To be fair, I have not reached out to Oak Stills yet for a replacement, so "Part 1" of the review. I do like their stuff and will continue to buy from them. I consider this a hiccup.

Worked with Peter to get a false bottom, extra parts, and a few tweaks for our syrup operation. Once I placed the order, they built the boiler and got the package shipped out to us quick. We are impressed with the quality and excited to get it set up and use it!

Oak Stills has some pretty incredible prices enough to wonder if they are legit. I placed an order a while back that included an 8" inline sight glass among other parts for my vinegar generator. There was an issue with the glass fit on the site glass, but they got me a replacement part sent out free of charge. I have been very happy with Oak Stills and will continue to use them for my custom builds! They are legit, and great to work with.

Well built boiler. One handle slightly bent from shipping, but does not affect operability. Hope to try it out soon.

There were some slight deviations from the advertised specs, but honestly the boiler design was better than I imagined. It is also just under 20 gallons to the top glange, so 15 usable gallons with plenty of head space. For the price this thing can't he beat.
